Ora-Tech to implement OTS HMIS at Civil Hospital

Ora-Tech Systems was shortlisted and has now been selected by Civil Hospital, Karachi, to implement its Hospital Information Management System.
The project will be the largest single Public Hospital HMIS roll out in the country's history, and is anticipated to be a landmark project in terms of exemplifying the maturity of the Pakistani IT industry. Ora-Tech Systems says the system will reduce waiting times drastically at Civil Hospital, in order to improve the daily lives of the general public.
The project is expected to conclude by YE 2010 and involves a full turn key solution consisting of HP Itanium Servers, OTS HMIS Software, Dedicated Fiber Network Connectivity and hundreds of workstations.
