P@SHA has launched a country-wide outreach and membership drive program. In the lieu of this program P@SHA organized its first stop in the southern Punjab city of Bahawalpur on October 23rd, 2020.
P@SHA Chairman Barkan Saeed along with CEC Members Waqas Khan Pitafi and Salman Dar and Acting Secretary General Talha Bin Afzal were generously hosted by the members of South Punjab Tech Alliance (S@PTA) and their notable members Enigmatix and JB Technologies for a series of meetings in the city of Nawabs.
One of the events held place at Islamia University Bahawalpur where Chairman P@SHA, Barkan Saeed shared the strategic objectives of P@SHA as well as the different agendas on which P@SHA is closely working with the government such as Special Technology Zones (STZs), Export Marketing Fund (EMF) for better Brand Pakistan, Make in Pakistan for Demand Generation, and 5% cash reward on IT exports. Mr. Saeed explained the need of such programs for the growth of IT sector and how it will benefit the industry players. He also shared his thoughts on what P@SHA would be doing with the help of government for the IT players in the second tier cities.
Mr. Tauqeer Ahmed, CEO of Enigmatix shared his thoughts while representing S@PTA. Mr. Ahmed along with other members showed keen interest to be a part of the P@SHA.
Chairman P@SHA along with CEC members have offered the members of S@PTA to join P@SHA as it is the solely recognized body to raise their voice and become part of the bigger nationwide community. P@SHA secretariat will be running a special process for their immediate onboarding. P@SHA would also create another group “P@SHA – South Punjab” for the inclusion of members from the cities of Bahawalpur, Multan and Rahim Yar Khan.
