Islamabad, August 17, 2023: P@SHA (Pakistan IT Industry Association) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Nadeem A. Malik as the new Secretary General. We extend a warm welcome to Mr. Malik as he assumes this significant role within our esteemed organization.
With a career spanning over 35 years, Mr. Malik brings a wealth of experience to P@SHA. Having held executive positions in renowned organizations both in Pakistan and the USA, he possesses expertise in management, strategic development, transformational policies, sales leadership, and business development. His passion for agile methodologies and unwavering commitment to delivering value make him an invaluable addition to our team.
Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Nadeem Malik has been recognized for his exceptional leadership qualities and his ability to drive results. Having recently retired from his position as Director of Enterprise Business at Oracle, Mr. Malik made significant contributions to the company’s success. Furthermore, his membership in the Prime Minister Taskforce on IT & Telecom underscores his deep involvement in the industry.
Prior to his tenure at Oracle, Mr. Nadeem served as the Country Manager of Cloud BU at IBM, where he played a pivotal role in driving digital transformation initiatives. His leadership as the Country General Manager at Microsoft Pakistan showcased his commitment to fostering a culture of inclusivity and a growth mindset.
As the newly appointed Secretary-General, Mr. Nadeem will be responsible for leading P@SHA’s strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration with key stakeholders, and advocating for the interests of the IT industry at national and international levels.
With Mr. Nadeem Malik leading the Secretariat team, the Central Executive Committee (CEC) has placed full confidence in his ability to provide excellent leadership. He will work closely with the CEC to execute the industry’s shared vision for the future. Mr. Malik’s wealth of experience and strategic acumen will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and success of P@SHA.
As P@SHA embarks on this new chapter with Mr. Nadeem Malik as our Secretary General, we are confident that his leadership will bring fresh perspectives, drive innovation, and further strengthen our collective efforts to promote the growth and prosperity of the IT industry in Pakistan.
