i2c Appoints Payments Veteran as General Manager for MEA

LAHORE, Pakistan. – March 15, 2020 – i2c Inc., a leading payment and open banking technology provider, has announced expansion of its presence in the Middle East and Africa with the appointment of an industry veteran Aurangzaib Khan as the General Manager, based in Dubai.

Prior to joining i2c, Khan held senior positions at Mastercard including Country Manager of Pakistan and Afghanistan where he established the Mastercard Pakistan office. There, he grew Mastercard to become one of the largest networks in Pakistan including the launchof Mastercard’s first global QR code payment program in that country.  Khan’s knowledge of banking came from his time working for MCB bank, Bank Alfalah and Standard Chartered.
