On February 8, ahead of LEAP 2025, Tech Destination Pakistan and HBL P@SHA Konnect presented the Pakistan-Saudi Business Forum 2025 in Riyadh, drawing more than 400 industry leaders. The forum opened a day ahead of LEAP itself — the fourth edition of Saudi Arabia’s flagship global technology event, held February 9–12 under the theme “Into New Worlds” and expecting more than 170,000 visitors.
Key speakers at the forum included Deemah AlYahya, Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO); H.E. Ahmed Farooq, Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia; Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication, who served as Chief Guest; Abu Bakar, CEO of the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB); Sajjad Mustafa Syed, Chairman of P@SHA; and Armughan Ahmed Kausar, Head of Konnect & Mass Segment at HBL.
The forum facilitated direct B2B networking alongside discussions on billion-dollar tech opportunities between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, reinforcing Pakistan’s commitment to advancing its digital economy through global partnerships. It set the stage for Pakistan’s wider LEAP 2025 delegation — among the largest ever assembled for the event, with over 100 Pakistani companies and 1,000+ delegates targeting an estimated $50 million in new business deals.
