Web Summit Qatar 2025 proved a landmark event for Pakistan’s tech industry, strengthening the country’s global footprint through a dedicated Pakistan Pavilion and an evening Pakistan Night reception that unlocked new opportunities for collaboration and investment.

P@SHA led a delegation to Web Summit Qatar 2025, held February 23–26 in Doha, giving Pakistan’s IT industry a platform to showcase its innovation landscape to one of the world’s leading technology conference audiences. The Pakistan Pavilion was officially inaugurated by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar, Lt Gen (retd) Muhammad Aamer, together with PSEB CEO Abu Bakar and P@SHA Senior Vice Chairman Umair Nizam — a milestone P@SHA described as significant for deepening Pakistan-Qatar technology cooperation.

The centerpiece evening event, Pakistan Night, brought together Pakistani delegates, Qatari officials, and international attendees for panel discussions and networking sessions. Speaking at the pavilion inauguration, Ambassador Aamer highlighted the strength of Pakistan’s IT sector and its potential for international collaboration, while PSEB’s Abu Bakar emphasized government support for IT exports and global partnerships. Umair Nizam pointed to Qatar as an increasingly open and significant market for Pakistani IT companies.

P@SHA noted that the event strengthened Pakistan’s global footprint and unlocked new opportunities for collaboration and investment, reaffirming its commitment to facilitating international partnerships and innovation-driven growth for the Pakistani IT sector.
