P@SHA CONNECT at LEAP 2023 connected Pakistani technology companies with Saudi businesses, investors, government stakeholders, and technology leaders, creating opportunities for trade, investment, partnerships, joint ventures, and market expansion.

Held in Riyadh from February 6–9, LEAP 2023 provided an important platform for Pakistan’s IT and ITeS industry to engage with Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding digital economy. P@SHA’s Connect initiative focused on B2B matchmaking, curated business connections, and one-on-one engagement with business leaders and government officials.

Muhammad Zohaib Khan, Chairman P@SHAled the industry engagement and positioned Saudi Arabia as a strategically important market for Pakistani technology companies. P@SHA also engaged with the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce around investment, joint ventures, trade and technology opportunities.

The wider Pakistani presence at LEAP 2023 generated substantial commercial interest. According to figures subsequently shared by P@SHA Chairman Muhammad Zohaib Khan, Pakistani companies generated leads worth more than $100 million through B2B matchmaking on the sidelines of LEAP 2023. The event itself generated approximately$9 billion in IT business, underlining the scale of the opportunity available to Pakistani technology companies.

The engagement also helped lay the groundwork for subsequent Pakistani business expansion in Saudi Arabia. Inbox Technologies, for example, later reported that it had closed significant Saudi business following its participation in LEAP 2023 and moved toward establishing a presence in Riyadh.
