Industry Engagement Manager

Position Overview

As an Industry Engagement Manager for P@SHA, your primary responsibilities would involve building and maintaining relationships with industry partners, stakeholders, and other organizations within the software development and technology sector in Pakistan. This would involve identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnership, representing P@SHA at events and conferences, and acting as a point of contact for industry inquiries. Overall, the Industry Engagement Manager for P@SHA would play a key role in building and maintaining relationships within the software development industry in Pakistan, and in promoting the work and goals of P@SHA to a wider audience.


  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase industry engagement and partnerships, with a strong emphasis on driving revenue growth through effective business development initiatives.
  • Lead the development and execution of dynamic strategies to drive substantial revenue through strategic business initiatives. Foster and formalize impactful industry partnerships, cultivating valuable relationships to maximize sales opportunities and elevate the organization’s position
  • Collaborating with P@SHA members and industry partners to identify and address common challenges and opportunities
  • Providing support to P@SHA members in the form of business development, market intelligence, and other resources
  • Organizing and participating in industry events, including conferences, workshops, and networking events
  • Actively promoting P@SHA and the IT & ITeS industry in Pakistan through various channels, such as social media, newsletters, and media outreach
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of industry partnerships and engagement activities
  • Providing regular reports on industry engagement and partnership activities to P@SHA leadership and stakeholders
  • Developing the provincial strategy to engage and expand memberbase and expand penetration of P@SHA membership in the assigned locations
  • Establish and maintain effective outreach partnerships, ensuring a broad network of connections with key stakeholders to enhance industry engagement and support strategic initiatives
  • Manage seamless execution of industry events and initiatives

Skills Required

  • Cross-sectoral relationship building and management with stakeholders
  • Prior experience in Sales, Business Development, Marketing and/or Communications
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Pro-active with a self-starting work approach
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Must be adaptable to changes and able to work under pressure


  • 4-6 years of experience in Public Relations or relevant
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Business Administration, Marketing or Public administration.
