Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on a wide range of policy issues, such as taxation, data privacy, regulatory frameworks, and digital governance.
- Track and analyse legislative and regulatory developments impacting the IT sector, identifying opportunities and challenges for advocacy.
- Develop concise, evidence-based policy briefs, reports, and presentations to support decision-making.
- Maintain a professional and engaging presence on social media to assist
advocacy efforts and influence public discourse on policy matters. - Collaborate with government bodies, industry associations, and other
stakeholders to build relationships and represent organizational interests in meetings, conferences, and workshops. - Assist in preparing and drafting policy recommendations, consultation responses, and briefing materials for senior management.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Computer Science, Law, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex policy and regulatory information into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to write clearly and persuasively, with experience in drafting reports, policy briefs, and recommendations.
- Strong verbal communication skills, capable of presenting findings to
stakeholders effectively. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with data analysis tools or visualization software is a plus.
- Experience with grant writing, fundraising, or public sector partnerships is an advantage.
- Active presence on social media platforms, with experience in advocacy or digital campaigns preferred.
