Pakistan Night @ GITEX Global 2025

Dubai, UAE | October 13–17, 2025

Building on 2024’s “Tech Destination of the Year” recognition, Pakistan returned to GITEX Global 2025 with an exclusive Pakistan Night hosted by the Consulate General of Pakistan, Dubai, graced by Federal IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja and senior P@SHA leadership.

On October 13, the Consulate General of Pakistan, Dubai, in collaboration with the Ministry of IT & Telecommunication (MoITT), the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), hosted “Pakistan Night” — an exclusive networking event celebrating Pakistan’s digital transformation and growing global tech presence, held during GITEX Global 2025 (Oct 13–17, Dubai World Trade Centre).

The event was graced by Federal Minister for IT & Telecom Shaza Fatima Khawaja and attended by senior government officials, diplomatic representatives, and key industry leaders — including P@SHA Chairman Sajjad Mustafa Syed and Senior Vice Chairman Muhammad Umair Nizam. The gathering highlighted Pakistan’s progress in the digital economy and its expanding role in the global tech ecosystem, building on the Pakistan Pavilion’s earlier inauguration by Minister Khawaja and the participation of around 100 leading Pakistani tech companies and roughly 1,000 delegates across the week.

On the sidelines of GITEX, Minister Khawaja also held bilateral meetings with UAE counterparts on joint ventures in AI innovation, digital governance, and cross-border data collaboration, highlighting initiatives such as the Digital Nation Pakistan Act and the National Data Exchange Layer.
