P@SHA Connect at GITEX Africa Morocco 2023 brought Pakistan’s technology industry to the inaugural edition of Africa’s leading technology gathering, creating opportunities for Pakistani IT companies to connect with African businesses, governments, investors, and technology stakeholders.

Held in Marrakech from May 31–June 2, GITEX Africa 2023 marked the first African edition of the global GITEX brand. P@SHA, in collaboration with the Ministry of IT & Telecom (MoITT), Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), and Tech Destination Pakistan, facilitated Pakistan’s participation and promoted the country’s growing IT and ITeS capabilities to the African market.

The Pakistani delegation was represented by Syed Amin Ul Haque, Federal Minister for IT & Telecom, and Muhammad Zohaib Khan, Chairman P@SHA, with Pakistan’s participation receiving significant attention at the launch of GITEX Africa. P@SHA highlighted Africa’s 54-country market as a major opportunity for Pakistani technology companies and identified the potential to significantly expand Pakistan’s IT exports to the continent.
